InterPark Holdings Inc. is North America\'s premier owner, operator and developer of parking facilities. We seek enthusiastic and qualified candidates to join our team. This role is based in Chicago and supports operations across InterPark facilities.
Role Summary
The Associate Manager is responsible for overseeing employees in the workplace in accordance with Company policies and procedures. This fast-paced role requires multitasking related to operations, staffing, clients and customers. This position requires a flexible schedule including extended hours. The Associate Manager reports to the Operations Manager or Senior Operations Manager.
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee the property(ies) with excellence and attention to detail.
- Promote positive customer relations by being responsive and attentive to customer needs.
- Channel requests and requirements of location\'s landlord to appropriate decision maker.
- Schedule employees to ensure appropriate staffing levels per shift to meet service requirements and budget.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll reporting. Check time and attendance system records, compile and submit payroll for Operations Manager or Senior Operations Manager approval.
- Resolve customer service inquiries, complaints, incident reports and claims for the location as needed.
- Maintain corporate standards and location log books.
- Lead by example and ensure that customers have an exceptional customer service experience.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and comprehension skills.
- Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and associates.
- Apply reasoning and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Recruit, coach, motivate and evaluate teams.
- Ensure employees are properly trained and follow established safety standards.
- Establish and maintain scheduling procedures.
- Perform related duties as requested.
Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field).
- At least 1 year of experience working in the parking, valet, real estate, leasing, retail, hospitality, transportation/logistics, property management or manufacturing industry.
- Computer literate; proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and utilizing Web-based computer systems.
Additional Duties May Include:
- Reconciliation of Payroll Deduction Process, ID Badges Payment, and Petty Cash Management.
- Provide refunds as needed.
- Maintaining supply inventory.
- MDI Process and updates.
- Contractor and Visitor Parking oversight and audit.
- Internal and External Communications with Hospital, Vendor, and InterPark Staff.
- Paper and Electronic File Maintenance.
- Operational Binder Maintenance.
Eligibility Requirements:

- MUST be willing to work out of the Chicago facility/garage/lot/office.
- MUST be able to travel from one facility to another in a timely manner.
- MUST be able to maintain flexibility in schedule in order to meet operational needs. This may require occasionally working outside of regularly scheduled hours.
- MUST be able to walk or move to assist customers in a timely manner; in some cases, must be able to travel up and down parking garage ramps in order to assist customers and garage issues.
