The Associate Maintenance Advisor role will serve two primary functions:

  • Own a portfolio of customers, acting on their behalf in managing and making repair decision recommendations for their Repair Orders
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on the direction of the Shop Network product and processes

As this is a new role, you will be assisting with providing input on the design of processes to best support the mission of the role, helping identify systems and data needs, and advocating for your customers throughout the process. While you will have a portfolio of customers, you will be engaging with a variety of stakeholders within Fleetio, from Customer Success, Implementation, and Support to Product, Engineering and Marketing, regularly collaborating on making the Maintenance Shop Network a best in class service.

This role will be a mix of both tactical and strategic. It will allow you to utilize your maintenance expertise and background, while also flexing your business acumen, helping shape the future of Fleetio’s Maintenance Shop Network.

You are comfortable with helping to build a brand new role, based on key objectives and goals.

  • Maintain a portfolio of customers, managing their repair decisions. When repairs occur outside your approval thresholds, escalate to the customer with a recommendation.
  • Utilize your maintenance background to provide expert guidance to your customers on their maintenance decisions.
  • Provide each customer with a periodic review of their account, offering best practices and guidance on suggested policies to reduce overall spend and improve driver efficiency.
  • Join the broader Shop Network team, detailing common themes and helping find solutions to continuously improve the overall product and customer experience.
  • Provide regular updates to various groups, such as Product, Customer Experience Leadership and our Executive team on the progress of the role, articulating any needs you may have while building out SOPs such as systems or reports.
Your experience
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive repair. Previous experience in a Service Advisor role or Fleet Manager role preferred.
  • ASE Certified in 4-6 categories.
  • Comfortable with standard professional systems, such as Excel, email, Powerpoint/Google Slides.
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders through a variety of platforms, including phone, email and zoom.

Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
