RIM Recruitment Professionals is seeking an Associate Attorney specializing in Litigation and Pre-Litigation in Kansas City, MO. This full-time, in-person role targets sharp litigators who want meaningful work beyond the usual high-volume docket.

The position requires a Missouri and/or Kansas bar license, 3+ years of litigation (plaintiff-side preferred), and 5–7 years in pre-litigation and settlement work.

Qualifications

• Missouri and/or Kansas bar license required; both jurisdictions preferred.
• 3+ years of litigation experience; plaintiff-side experience preferred.
• 5–7 years in pre-litigation, settlement negotiations, and fact-finding.
• Excellent client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage a demanding caseload.
• In-office role based in Kansas City with a stable employment history.

Responsabilités

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute strategy on personal injury and long-term disability cases

What We're Looking For

• Active bar license in Missouri and/or Kansas —both preferred
• 3+ years of litigation experience;plaintiff-side personal injury strongly preferred
• 5-7 years of pre-litigation, settlement negotiations, and fact-finding experience
• Excellent client-facing communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a demanding caseload
• A self-starter who takes initiative, speaks up, and is hungry to keep improving
• Candidates should be comfortable working primarily in-office in Kansas City and demonstrate a stable, consistent employment history.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary $130, 000–$150, 000, depending on experience
• Performance Bonus Will disclose during the interview process.
• Insurance & Coverage Employer covers 75% of employee health insurance premium;short- and long-term disability and a $25, 000 life insurance policy included
• Retirement 401(k) with company matching
• Additional Perks Dental, vision, FSA, generous PTO, paid holidays, and paid downtown parking
• Work Schedule & Flexibility Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM. The firm currently offers two WFH days per month, with one WFH day per week rolling out in early 2027. Attorneys have additional scheduling flexibility as needed.
