Job summary

Medical Engineering Consultants (MEC) is seeking a recruiting professional to partner with business development, source and engage candidates, and coordinate end-to-end hiring processes in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, effective communication, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple requisitions and maintain an accurate ATS database across medical device, pharmaceutical, and life sciences candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong relationship-building and relationship-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Previous recruiting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Business Development Associates to understand client hiring needs and recruiting priorities.
• Source, identify, and engage qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, and other recruiting tools.
• Review resumes, conduct candidate screenings, and assess qualifications against client requirements.
• Submit qualified candidates to open positions in a timely manner.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and Business Development Associates.
• Follow up with Business Development Associates to obtain interview and submission feedback.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and activity updates within the ATS.
• Support active job requisitions and candidate submission activities.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future opportunities.
• Develop strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruiting lifecycle.

• Knowledge of engineering, quality, regulatory, validation, or manufacturing roles is a plus.
