Associate Lecturer, Math


The Department of Natural Sciences & Mathematics is accepting applications for part-time Associate Lecturers. The Associate Lecturer will teach in our undergraduate day program on our Milton campus. Screening and review of candidate application materials will begin immediately and will be ongoing.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
  • A Master's Degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or Statistics is required.
  • Must commit to using department-supplied syllabus, materials, and activities that employ the simulation-based inference approach to teaching statistical inference.
  • Must have the availability to teach Introductory Statistics course(s) in-person during the day at the Milton campus.
  • The department is seeking candidates with a strong history of effective teaching, including experience using active learning techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Canvas LMS a plus.
  • Familiarity with the simulation-based inference approach or willingness to learn is expected.
