Position: Associate Teacher, Imagine Preschool

The Associate Teacher will support Lead Teachers in developing and delivering culturally and developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum within Imagine Child Care learning environments.

Responsibilities:

• Implement daily routines, schedules, and learning experiences in classrooms.
• Guide teacher assistants in executing curriculum.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues, children, and families.
• Use evidence-based practices to support social/emotional, language, physical, and cognitive development.
• Encourage participation of CCRI students and collaborate with educational staff.
• Support inclusion for children with disabilities and collaborate with specialists.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies.
• Complete reports, evaluations, and incident reports.
• Follow infection control protocols.
• Transport children safely in Center vehicles, abiding by traffic rules and safety measures.
• Participate in trainings, conferences, and professional organizations.

Requirements:

• Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development plus minimum three months supervised teaching experience; or
• High school diploma or equivalence with CDA credential, 15 college credits in ECE/Child Development, and three months supervised teaching experience; or
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in related fields, with coursework in child development, and at least one year supervised teaching experience.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
