A well-regarded national law firm is seeking a Land Banking / Commercial Real Estate Associate to join its growing team. The firm offers fully remote flexibility, regardless of office proximity. The role focuses on complex land banking transactions for national homebuilders, emphasizing private equity-style structuring rather than public-sector development.

Responsibilities:

• Handle land banking and commercial real estate transactions for major homebuilders

• Conduct due diligence (title/survey, environmental, lease/lien, UCC, litigation searches)

• Draft and negotiate transactional documents (purchase and sale, development agreements, etc.)

• Work closely with a collaborative team, including attorneys based remotely and in hybrid roles

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant experience (law firm or in-house)

• Land banking experience for homebuilders preferred (not government-based land banks)

• Licensed in any U.S. jurisdiction; FL, OH, or IL is a plus

• Strong organizational and communication skills
