• Partner with Product Development, Technical Design, Merchandising, and Production to ensure design intent across the lifecycle.
• Assist with fabric, trim, and material development, collaborating on sourcing and innovation.
• Review samples, participate in fit sessions, and provide feedback to support quality and aesthetics.
• Manage BOMs and maintain organized design documentation across systems.
• Support product launches, styling, photography prep, and cross-functional go-to-market initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Research market trends, silhouettes, color palettes, prints, and emerging opportunities within the kids and juniors apparel space.
• Design and develop seasonal assortments that align with brand aesthetics and customer needs.
• Create technical CADs, colorways, and design presentations while maintaining accurate product information throughout development.
• Partner closely with Product Development, Technical Design, Merchandising, and Production teams to ensure design intent is executed throughout the product lifecycle.
• Assist with fabric, trim, and material development, collaborating on sourcing and innovation opportunities.
• Review samples, participate in fit sessions, and provide feedback to support product quality, functionality, and aesthetic standards.
• Manage BOMs and maintain organized design documentation across company systems.
• Support product launches, styling, photography preparation, and cross-functional go-to-market initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
• 4+ years of apparel design experience, preferably within children's, juniors, or family-focused apparel categories.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrications, trims, fit, and product development processes.
• Exceptional trend awareness with the ability to translate concepts into commercially successful products.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing kids, juniors, or lifestyle apparel collections.
• Strong understanding of print, color, and assortment development.
• Passion for creating innovative, functional, and trend-driven products that resonate with today's families.

Pay range

$70,000 - $90,000 DOE
