Job summary

AdventHealth in Colorado is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to provide frontline technical support for consumer devices and AV equipment. You’ll troubleshoot and repair basic issues, reference knowledge bases, and coordinate with vendors to resolve incidents in alignment with SLA.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1+ year desktop experience, and familiarity with Windows/Mac and Office apps. Healthcare exposure is a plus; full-time daytime schedule offered.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
• Associate degree (Preferred)
• Field of Study: in computer technology
• 1+ year in desktop environment (Required)
• Basic knowledge of browsers, Microsoft Office, Windows/Mac OS
• Experience in Healthcare environment (Preferred)
• Experience in consumer-centric environment (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Communicates with consumers to provide solutions to technical problems.
• Supports audio-video technology at a basic level.
• References centralized AIT Field Operations knowledge bases.
• Performs basic level repairs for company devices.
• Works with designated information technology vendors for support.
• Meets the standard SLA for incidents and requests.
• Leads projects and special initiatives within allotted timeframes.
• Follows AIT standard operating procedures for field operations.
• Performs preventive maintenance on authorized company devices.
• Works with enterprise AIT technical and business support teams as required.
• Installs consumer-based hardware and software on devices and operating systems.

Job Description:

• Basic familiarity with device imaging processes. [Required]
• Basic knowledge of mobile devices hardware. [Required]
• Familiarity with projects and time tracking. [Required]
• Demonstrates effective technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with some supervision. [Required]
• Basic knowledge of workstation management software. [Required]
• Familiarity with common peripherals and accessories. [Required]
• Basic working knowledge of best IT security practices. [Required]
• Basic understanding of IT network hardware, software, and general concepts. [Required]
• Experience working in a Healthcare environment. [Preferred]
