Job summary

Controlled Products Systems Group (CPSG) is seeking a Warehouse Associate for on-site duties in Gardena, CA. You will perform warehouse tasks, assist customers with order pickups, and support outbound shipments while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, 3+ years in a high-volume warehouse, and a valid driver’s license. CPSG offers a competitive hourly wage, benefits, and a 401(k) plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform all warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality
  • Assist customers with order pickup; complete deliveries of inventory to customer locations; provide basic customer service functions
  • May perform basic modifications to parts of customer products per specified requirements
  • Oversight of outbound shipment processes
  • Assist with handling incoming telephone inquiries, and other administrative duties as requested
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment as well as the safety and security of all employees by following all safety and company standards
  • Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order ensure little to no accidents
  • Contribute and implement process suggestions in order to continuously improve warehouse operations
  • Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify supervisor in order to correct issue
  • Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur in order to minimize safety risk

This position requires regular and predictable on‑site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed.

Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

Protect CPSG’s reputation by keeping information confidential.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Forklift Certification
  • 3+ years in a high volume warehouse environment
  • Ability to Read and Write in English
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior welding/torch experience, Proficiency in Spanish
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit up
  • Ability to use hand to finger, handle, or feel
  • Ability to climb or balance
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to talk or hear

The pay range for this position is $22.45 - $34.28/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short‑term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
