Job summary

FIS in Wisconsin is seeking an entry-level mail sorter/remittance processor for a full-time, on-site role. You will sort incoming mail, operate remittance processing equipment, and support daily batch processing.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and strong communication. Work hours are 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM CST, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Performs research and adjustment activities.
• Processes exception items.
• Maintains inventory of remittance processing supplies.
• Prepares outgoing collection notices for negotiable instruments.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you will be doing:

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday 4:00AM - 12:30PM CST. Must be local and able to commute on-site.

What you bring:

High school diploma or GED

* Capacity to lift or move up to 30 pounds

* Considerable knowledge of remittance processing

* Proficient written and oral communication skills in dealing with all team members.

* Knowledge of the practices, procedures and problem-solving techniques required to verify and distribute computer output

* Knowledge of the practices, procedures and problem-solving techniques required to process client transactions and produce output through computer operations

* Knowledge of the practices, procedures and problem-solving techniques involved in item processing

* Knowledge of client specifications for remittance processing

* Knowledge of off-line and peripheral equipment operation and maintenance

* Proficiency to assemble, organize and sequence work

* Knowledge to identify errors in calculations and balances
