Job summary

Medial Group in the United States and Puerto Rico seeks an Associate I – Customer Service to support sales orders and inventory management across hospitals, clinics, and physicians.

Job description

The Associate I – Customer Service provides customer service, sales order, and inventory management support to the sales force, hospitals, clinics, and physicians. Under general supervision, this position ensures customer orders and inventory-related requests for products and services are handled accurately, efficiently, and promptly, including requests involving special circumstances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide sales order and/or inventory management support to the sales force.
  • Support hospitals, clinics, physicians, and other customers with product and service requests.
  • Receive, process, and fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly.
  • Provide inventory support and assist with product availability requirements.
  • Handle orders and customer requests involving special circumstances.
  • Maintain accurate information and documentation related to customer orders and inventory.
  • Follow established company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve order, inventory, or customer-related issues.
Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent specialized training/related experience required.
  • Associate Degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in the biotechnology, bio-instruments, medical device, or other regulated industry preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated customer service experience or experience in a closely related environment.
  • Previous experience supporting customers, sales teams, order processing, or inventory activities preferred.
  • Experience in the biotech, bio-instruments, or medical device industry is highly desirable.

Required Skills

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated competence in English spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to process customer requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of applicable practices and procedures.
  • Ability to learn and follow company products, policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively with sales representatives, hospitals, clinics, physicians, and internal teams.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma + 2 years of relevant customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field + customer service/order management experience within the medical device, biotechnology, or bio-instruments industry.
