Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer for substation projects. You will work on high voltage substation design, protection & control, and related engineering deliverables while collaborating with clients and vendors.

The role offers travel opportunities and a hybrid work option. Preferred candidates have an EIT certification and a bachelor's degree in engineering, with at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform substation designs, including physical design and protection & controls.
• Prepare equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and construction.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and subcontractors.
