Job summary

Gray, Inc. in Lexington, KY is seeking an Associate, HRBP to join our headquarters team. The role requires 3–5 years of HR experience and a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field, with a hybrid schedule and occasional travel to project sites.

Knowledge of UKG HRIS and strong communication are essential. You will provide day-to-day HR support, advise managers on performance actions, and coordinate employee relations, benefits, leave programs, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in construction or professional services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for team member relations; conduct initial fact-finding and support investigations.
• Provide day-to-day HR support with consistent policy application across teams.
• Advise managers on performance management and action interpretations of policies.
• Manage employee relations cases in coordination with HR Manager; document and communicate outcomes.
• Support Benefits and leave programs (FMLA) with return-to-work coordination.
• Coordinate ADA interactive process with timely communication and docs.
• Maintain HR documentation for compliance and audits.
• Assist with job descriptions updates to align with roles and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate on organizational development, coaching plans, and engagement initiatives.
