Job summary

Starkey Laboratories, Inc. in Plainfield, IN is seeking an Associate Human Resources Business Partner to serve as the HR face for the GDC.

You will partner with front-line managers to align people programs with business needs, handle employee relations, and support performance and change initiatives. The role requires strong communication, knowledge of employment laws, and bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required.
• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in employee relations issues and questions.
• Assist in rollout and maintenance of HR programs and practices.
• Evaluate, progress and guide adjustments during organizational change.
• Learn and follow organizational pay philosophy and supporting processes.
• Diagnose and help managers diagnose performance problems.
• Ensure clear performance expectations throughout the department(s) supported.
• Introduce performance management processes, practices, tools and metrics.
• Help identify "high priority" retention needs.
• Follow best practices and policies to retain talent.
• Identify individual, and departmental training and learning needs.
• Responsible for the execution of internal HR processes with assigned client groups.
• Conduct exit interviews of all voluntary terminations.
• Conduct employee relation investigations.
• Participate in any involuntary termination.
• Facilitate trainings, presentations and meetings when necessary.
• Partner with other areas of HR to streamline processes and encourage collaboration.
