Job summary

The Boeing Company in Hazelwood, MO is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer – Fighter Vehicle Health to join the Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GVHMS) team. The role focuses on planning, design, development and verification of lifecycle balanced system solutions across multiple aircraft platforms.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in systems engineering, strong communication, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams; U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance is required.
• 1+ years of experience in systems engineering (requirements definition, allocation, verification, architecture design and trade design).
• 1+ years of experience working systems engineering across multiple phases of the product life-cycle.

Responsibilities

• Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
• Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of interfaces.
• Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
• Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other quality factors into a preferred configuration.
• Develops planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
• Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
