Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Software Development Engineer to join the Government Vehicle Health Maintenance team in Hazelwood, MO. You will design, implement, and maintain cloud-native microservices that analyze platform health and usage data, delivering actionable maintenance recommendations to support mission readiness.

This is a 100% onsite position within Boeing Global Services Software Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship).
• 5+ years in object-oriented design and programming in C#, .NET, Java, SQL, HTML, CSS.
• 5+ years developing software on Windows or Linux.
• 5+ years with containerized architectures (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
• 5+ years of experience in Git.
• 5+ years of cloud-based software development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software across full lifecycle.
• Translate customer needs into software designs and plans.
• Develop and maintain software architectures, interfaces, and designs.
• Integrate and optimize software products and system integrations.
• Debug complex issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Respond to user inquiries and incorporate feedback.
• Research new technologies and implement relevant solutions.
• Improve software processes, tools, and KPIs.
• Plan and document software R&D initiatives.
