Job summary

The Boeing Company in Hazelwood, MO seeks an Associate Systems Engineer – Fighter Vehicle Health to join the Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GVHMS) team. You will collaborate with software, hardware and systems engineers to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems for fighter vehicle health across platforms.

The role requires strong communication, stakeholder collaboration and expertise in MBSE, agile methods and earned value management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
• 1+ years of experience in systems engineering (requirements definition, allocation, verification, architecture design and trade design)
• 1+ years of experience working systems engineering across multiple phases of the product life-cycle

Responsibilities

• Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
• Defines and coordinates system performance requirements with customers and ensures compatibility across interfaces
• Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture
• Assesses affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security and regulatory factors in a configuration for mission success
• Develops planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes
• Resolves cross-functional technical issues
