Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years experience.
  • Registered Architect.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project Schedule).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and process.
  • Demonstrated graphic presentation skills.
  • Experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of codes and good planning skills.

In the role of Associate Health Principal, you will help guide the overall direction of the Health sector in the local region and be part of the #1 Healthcare team in the industry. The successful candidate must possess the drive, skillset, and charisma needed to develop a client base and to augment an unrivaled reputation for the core Health Team throughout the region.

The primary responsibility of the Associate Health Principal is to deliver great work, develop professional networks, grow your craft, and aspire to the role of a Health Principal within our practice. The role includes a variety of duties ranging from engaging in business development, leading pursuits, and directing project teams. Critical to this role is a commitment to developing and nurturing strong client relationships, beginning with pre-positioning activities and continuing through project execution.

Leadership Responsibilities

In coordination with the local Health Principal(s), contribute to the leadership and visioning for the Health sector in the local area / region.

Assist local Health Principal(s) and leadership in reaching net fees booked goals.

Contribute to or lead capture plans, qualifications, and proposals for Health clients / pursuits.

Contribute to or lead interview strategies and implementation.

Learn / lead internal HDR marketing processes, such as GNG, Fee Development/Approval, risk awareness and data maintenance.

Serve as Project Manager (or other roles as appropriate) on projects and prepare / negotiate project contracts.

Maintain project oversight throughout execution, including conformance to client expectations for technical/quality, financial performance, and schedule adherence.

Interface with clients proactively, by engaging them regularly through multiple channels.

Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to health staff and project teams.

In collaboration with Health subject matter experts, and independently when appropriate, develop abstracts and presentations for industry conferences, seminars, workshops, and other similar events promoting sector messages, research, project outcomes, lessons learned, trends, etc.

Actively cultivate of a network of industry partners for intelligence gathering and strategic development.

Regular engagement in local relevant industry organizations.

  • Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications

A minimum 2 years project management

Experience with successfully developing and executing targeted market and client strategies.

Must be able to lead a team on projects

Good planning and mentoring skills

Forward-thinking and have a big-picture mentality.
