Job description

Salary Range: $79,500.00 - $113,500.00

Introduction The Associate GTM Manager, Premium Portfolio helps shape and manage the premium product portfolio for the Americas. This role leads the development of regional portfolio plans and recommendations across lineup architecture, pricing, positioning, assortment, and lifecycle strategy, translating consumer, retailer, competitive, and commercial insights into actionable recommendations that inform portfolio decisions. Working across North America GTM, Global GTM, Global Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams, this individual represents Americas market requirements in global planning and translates global product direction into a winning regional portfolio and sell-in strategy. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial judgment, analytical rigor, deep understanding of Americas consumers and retail channels, and the ability to influence stakeholders through facts, business logic, and data-driven recommendations.

What You Will Do:

Lead the annual planning process and support day-to-day management of the Americas premium product portfolio by coordinating key inputs and milestones and aligning regional and global stakeholders around portfolio priorities and recommendations. Translate Americas market requirements into a proposed annual regional lineup for new and existing premium products, defining product and SKU roles, target consumers, competitive positioning, channel strategy, portfolio fit, and target price bands. Use consumer research, retailer feedback, competitive activity, category performance, market trends, and financial insights to shape recommendations for MSRP, pricing architecture, retailer exclusives, product derivatives, assortment strategy, positioning, lifecycle actions, and future product requirements. Represent Americas market requirements in global product planning discussions and contribute fact-based business cases and recommendations that inform global and regional product decisions. Partner with Sales and Marketing to translate portfolio strategy into launch messaging, product education, sales‑enablement tools, sell‑in materials, and retailer‑specific portfolio narratives. Monitor portfolio, tier, and SKU performance throughout the product lifecycle; identify opportunities, recommend corrective actions across pricing, assortment, positioning, lifecycle strategy, and commercial investment, and present performance updates, business cases, and strategic tradeoffs in regional and global business reviews. Build strong working relationships across North America and China‑based teams, aligning stakeholders around fact-based recommendations and clear decision frameworks.

To Be Successful You Will Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer electronics, smart home, appliances, durable consumer goods, or related consumer technology industries.
  • 3+ years of product management or portfolio management experience; experience in one or more adjacent functions such as go-to-market, category management, commercial strategy, or sales and channel strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize consumer insights, competitive activity, market trends, and business performance into clear product, portfolio, pricing, assortment, positioning, and lifecycle recommendations supported by analysis, business logic, and explicit tradeoffs.
  • Strong understanding of Americas consumers, retail channels, and commercial dynamics, including experience with Amazon and other major retail customers.
  • Familiarity with syndicated market data sources (e.g., Circana) and retailer performance data.
  • Strong commercial judgment, with the ability to connect consumer needs, retailer requirements, competitive dynamics, pricing decisions, and business outcomes.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to synthesize diverse inputs into clear strategic direction.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder‑management, and influencing skills, including experience developing, defending, and presenting fact‑based recommendations, business cases, and strategic tradeoffs to senior leaders across functions, cultures, and organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and operate independently in a fast‑paced, ambiguous, and evolving business environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with both Americas regional teams and China‑based or international headquarters organizations.
  • Experience developing retailer assortment, exclusive variant, or channel‑specific portfolio strategies.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting new product introductions and portfolio planning across launch, in‑market optimization, product transitions, and end‑of‑life planning.
  • Experience contributing to product or portfolio business cases and evaluating revenue, margin, cost, volume, inventory, and cannibalization tradeoffs to inform pricing, assortment, and lifecycle recommendations.
  • Mandarin Chinese proficiency.
