Job summary

Hepburn and Sons LLC in Manassas, VA seeks an Associate Analyst to support business development for government clients. You will help create dashboards, perform market research, and maintain the BD pipeline across CostPoint/SharePoint while coordinating with multiple departments.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 1+ years of experience. Familiarity with GovWin, Deltek, and data visualization tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
• 1+ years of professional experience (internships or projects count).
• Exposure to federal/state/local government contracting is desirable.
• Experience with CRM tools such as GovWin or Deltek.
• Knowledge of BD or proposal processes (Shipley methodology).
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude or similar.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain dashboards, monthly briefs, and pipeline trackers.
• Conduct market research via SAM.gov, PIEE, GovWin, and other portals.
• Maintain opportunity pipeline in CRM (CostPoint) or SharePoint with status and value.
• Assist with data calls, capability matrix updates, and BD process docs.
• Track teaming and non-disclosure agreements; coordinate calendars and meetings.
• Organize BD and proposal-related files and reports.
• Attend industry days, conferences, or BD events for the company.
• Interface with departments to learn about recruiting, contracts, and security.
• Support accounting, HR, and contracts as needed.
