Sinceri Senior Living in the United States seeks an Associate General Counsel to provide strategic legal guidance across employment, residential claims, contracting, privacy, and regulatory compliance. You will partner with the General Counsel and executive leadership to identify risks and craft practical solutions.

This role covers employment law, litigation management, commercial contracting, privacy compliance, and corporate governance, working with cross-functional teams to enable growth

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing with at least one state bar association.
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of legal experience, preferably combining law firm and in-house counsel experience.
• Experience advising multi-site organizations, healthcare providers, senior living organizations, or similarly regulated industries preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in employment law, litigation management, commercial contracting, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to travel occasionally as business needs require.

Responsabilités

• Provide proactive employment-law counsel on employee relations, investigations, and compliance.
• Advise HR and leadership on federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Manage responses to employment claims, charges, and litigation.
• Review and update employment policies and training materials to reduce risk.
• Oversee resident claims, pre-litigation disputes, and litigation matters.
• Coordinate with insurers, outside counsel, and administrators for case management.
• Draft, review, negotiate vendor, service, and tech agreements; maintain standard templates.
• Lead privacy and data-protection initiatives, including HIPAA compliance and incident response.
• Support corporate governance, policy development, and training for staff.
• Manage outside counsel and control costs.
• Travel as needed.
