Job summary

Larson Maddox seeks a versatile attorney to serve as a key legal advisor across corporate, regulatory, employment, securities, and commercial matters. This role offers exposure to executive leadership and the Board, providing practical guidance in a complex financial services environment.

You will advise business units, support SEC disclosures, draft agreements, and manage outside counsel while coordinating with Compliance, Risk, and HR on enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and active bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years advising financial institutions, public companies, or similarly regulated entities.
• Strong background in employment law, securities disclosure, governance, or contracts.
• Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance.
• Excellent judgment and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Advise on legal and regulatory matters across business units and senior management.
• Counsel on employment law issues, investigations, and wage/hour matters.
• Support SEC filings, disclosures, governance and investor communications.
• Draft and review commercial contracts, licenses, leases, and governance materials.
• Manage outside counsel relationships for litigation and investigations.
• Advise on lending transactions, credit facilities, and due diligence.
• Monitor developments and advise on business impact and risks.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, HR on enterprise initiatives.
• Assist with corporate transactions, subsidiary governance, and board matters.
