Latitude is seeking a senior commercial attorney for a hands-on, in-house role focused on SaaS contracting. The position offers exposure to senior management and requires negotiating complex enterprise agreements and AI-enabled initiatives.

The role can be based in Jacksonville, FL, Provo, UT or Atlanta, GA and is an in-office, five days per week position.

Qualifications

• J.D. with active bar admission in an applicable state.
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience in SaaS/commercial contracting.
• Experience in both AmLaw 100 firms and in-house legal departments.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to senior management needs.
• Strong references from prior roles.

Job description

Step into a high-impact, high-visibility in-house counsel role with a vibrant, growing company and a good work-life balance. A leading global financial services and data organization is seeking a senior commercial attorney to serve as a trusted business partner across its mortgage technology division, with a primary focus on SaaS commercial contracting. This is a hands-on individual-contributor position with significant exposure to senior management and with a focus on the company’s high value customers. The role can be based in Jacksonville, FL, Provo, UT or Atlanta, GA and is in-office five days per week.

What You’ll Do

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, with an emphasis on complex SaaS enterprise agreements
• Advise on and negotiate complex, strategic commercial technology transactions
• Help shape how the legal team adopts AI—from contract review and workflow automation to template development—as part of a broader legal innovation initiative
• Provide timely, business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders across sales, product, finance, marketing, and data governance functions
• Collaborate with key customers and executive management during negotiations and issue resolution
• Drive improvements to legal workflows, templates, and processes, including through AI-enabled tools
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative legal department culture and mentor junior team members

Basic Requirements For The AGC, SaaS Commercial Contracting

• J.D. with active admission to the applicable state bar and 8+ years of relevant legal experience
• Proven negotiation skills and a track record of navigating complex, multi-party commercial arrangements
• A business-minded, solution-oriented approach and strong organizational skills, with the flexibility to accommodate international time zones as needed
• Prior experience working in both an AmLaw 100 law firm and in house legal department
• The ability to work independently, collaborate and learn new technologies and skills
• Outstanding professional references

Compensation

• Pay:. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
