Job summary

Tallgrass MLP Operations, LLC seeks an experienced Associate General Counsel (Finance) to support the Carbon Capture and Sequestration team, Tallgrass Water, and Tallgrass fiber initiatives. The role requires a J.D., U.S. bar admission, and at least 10 years of relevant legal experience, including finance and energy-related matters.

Travel and outside counsel supervision may be necessary. The successful candidate will draft and negotiate complex agreements, advise on regulatory and tax issues,

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in the U.S.
• At least 10 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience in finance-related or energy projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to Carbon Capture, Tallgrass Water, and fiber initiatives.
• Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Advise on regulatory compliance and tax considerations.
• Oversee outside counsel and manage travel as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and work under tight deadlines.
