Challenge Manufacturing is seeking an Associate General Counsel to oversee litigation matters and provide strategic legal counsel to management and business units. The role focuses on commercial litigation within the automotive supply chain, including contract drafting and negotiations, regulatory compliance, and IP concerns.

The AGC will lead risk assessment, develop litigation strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect the company's interests.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Michigan with a clean disciplinary record.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, preferably within the automotive industry or related sector.
• Proven track record of managing commercial litigation cases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Understanding of automotive manufacturing, product liability, contract law, and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and manage all aspects of litigation involving the company, including employment litigation and case strategy development; coordinate with external counsel and ensure effective case management.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to senior management and business units on risk assessment, contract disputes, regulatory compliance, and IP matters.
• Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risks and resolve disputes; collaborate with other departments to align with company objectives.
