Job description

  • Support prospective and existing clients in a digital, corporate-office environment
  • Provide financial advice and counsel consistent with client goals, risk tolerance, and investment needs
  • Participate in or support low-complexity initiatives within the functional area
  • Review basic or tactical issues, policies, and procedures related to lower-risk tasks and deliverables
  • Provide information to managers, functional colleagues, stakeholders, and customers
  • Partner with internal teams to support referred clients, digital investment relationships, portfolio review opportunities, and product or platform alignment
  • Build and grow client relationships through proactive outreach, investment conversations, service support, and relationship management
  • Identify and recommend process improvements and risk-control development opportunities
  • Exercise judgment while developing understanding of compliance and risk-management requirements
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Deliver a professional, client-focused experience
  • Complete structured apprenticeship duties, including on-the-job training, coursework, and mentorship
Requirements
  • 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Military experience in any branch of service is desired
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial services industry is desired
  • Financial services experience is desired
  • Call center experience is desired
  • Experience developing and managing client relationships is desired
  • Sales or sales support experience is desired
  • Client service focus with experience listening, eliciting information efficiently, comprehending, and resolving complex customer issues is desired
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions in a fast-paced, results-driven environment is desired
  • Solid organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills are desired
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are desired
  • Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills are desired
  • Successfully completed Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam is desired
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 and 66, or Series 63 and 65, exams to qualify for immediate registration, or FINRA-recognized equivalents
  • Enrollment into Wells Fargo’s DOL Registered Apprentice Program is required
  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate FINRA license(s) is required for ongoing employment
  • Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory
  • Must meet enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • Must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire
  • Must comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, including periodic screening and mandatory reporting
  • Must comply with outside activity and personal investing policies where applicable
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
