Salary Range: $50,000–$75,000/year (depending on experience)
Summary of action:
This is a critical, full-time, remote position for a detail-oriented professional with strong Excel skills and a desire to grow in the finance function. As an Associate Finance and Billing Specialist, you’ll start by owning billing and invoicing processes, especially using the AIA billing (G702/G703) documents, and gradually expand your scope to support financial reporting, process improvements, and cross-functional projects.
This role is perfect for someone with a strong attention to detail and analytical curiosity who thrives in evolving environments.

What You’ll Do (Essential Functions):
Accurately prepare, review, and submit invoices for commercial construction projects
Manage AIA billing documentation (G702/G703) and client-specific invoicing requirements
Coordinate with Sales, Project Management, and Operations teams to gather and verify billing data
Assist with financial reporting and analysis, along with pulling and using weekly reports
Maintain and improve Excel-based templates and financial trackers
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement across finance and billing workflows
Contribute to cross-functional projects that enhance internal systems and team efficiency

What You Bring (Qualifications):
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., formulas, range integrity, XLOOKUPs, data cleaning) strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Coachable, curious, and adaptable in fast-changing environments
Clear and professional written/verbal communication skills
Familiarity with AIA billing or construction project billing (strong plus)
Experience with QuickBooks, AIA G702/G703, or job costing tools (bonus)
Bonus points for familiarity with coding languages, or other financial systems (not required)
