Job summary

TUV SUD America is seeking a motivated engineer to support risk engineering services across production, mechanical, and electrical equipment. You will participate in site inspections, contribute to loss control surveys, and build client relationships while advancing your technical knowledge through mentoring and structured training.

The role emphasizes independent and collaborative work, strong communication, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field completed prior to employment start date. We welcome applications from recent graduates available to start within 3-4 weeks, as well as students expected to graduate in May 2027 who can begin full-time employment in June 2027
• Strong interest in mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems and how they operate
• Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly and apply sound judgment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Good planning and time management skills, especially when coordinating travel
• Willingness and ability to travel as required for the role

Responsibilities

• Support risk engineering services focused on production, mechanical, and electrical equipment to help clients reduce equipment breakdown risks
• Participate in site inspections and loss control surveys alongside experienced consultants
• Develop technical knowledge through on-the-job mentoring and structured training programs
• Prepare clear, accurate technical reports using established formats and guidelines
• Build professional relationships with clients by acting in a courteous and reliable manner on site
• Support account service teams, including participation in client meetings and presentations
• Contribute to service quality, client satisfaction, and agreed timelines under supervision
