Job summary

TUV SUD GRC is seeking an entry-level Risk Engineer to support risk engineering services for production, mechanical, and electrical equipment. You will participate in client site inspections and gain knowledge through mentoring and structured training programs.

The role involves preparing technical reports, building client relationships, and supporting account teams. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required, with travel up to 50–70% nationally and internationally.

Your Tasks

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field completed prior to employment start date. We welcome applications from recent graduates available to start within 3-4 weeks, as well as students expected to graduate in May 2027 who can begin full-time employment in June 2027
• Strong interest in mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems and how they operate
• Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly and apply sound judgment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Good planning and time management skills, especially when coordinating travel
• Willingness and ability to travel as required for the role

• Competitive base salary in the range of $68,000 - $74,000 USD annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and location

Additional Information

• Travel Requirement: This role requires approximately 50-70% domestic travel, with occasional international travel depending on business needs
• Work Environment: Work is performed at industrial client sites and may involve climbing ladders, navigating tight spaces, and lifting equipment up to 50 pounds
• Employment Type: Full-time, exempt position
