Job summary

TUV SUD GRC is seeking an entry-level Risk Engineer to support risk engineering services for production, mechanical, and electrical equipment. You will participate in client site inspections and gain knowledge through mentoring and structured training programs.

The role involves preparing technical reports, building client relationships, and supporting account teams. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required, with travel up to 50–70% nationally and internationally.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Strong interest in mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
• Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly and apply sound judgment.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support risk engineering services focused on production, mechanical, and electrical equipment to help clients reduce equipment breakdown risks.
• Participate in site inspections and loss control surveys alongside experienced consultants.
• Develop technical knowledge through on-the-job mentoring and structured training programs.
• Prepare clear, accurate technical reports using established formats and guidelines.
• Build professional relationships with clients by acting in a courteous and reliable manner on site.
• Support account service teams, including participation in client meetings and presentations.
• Contribute to service quality, client satisfaction, and agreed timelines under supervision.
