Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. is hiring a Fabricator for McKinney, TX on the 2nd shift. You will bend, seat, flange parts per drawings, inspect quality, and help maintain a safe, lean production environment.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, PIT certification (at hire), and about 1 year of related machining experience. Expect a $19.00/hour wage with shift differential and comprehensive benefits as part of a full-time role.

YOU As a Fabricator, you are responsible for bending, seating, flanging, and top flanging material to the specifications contained within work orders and production drawings in such a manner as to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, LEAN and production goals.
** 2nd Shift Hours are Mon - Thu 4:25PM – 2:55AM. You will receive a $2.50 shift differential for every hour worked. **
This job requires no domestic travel.
This full-time, non-exempt position is located in McKinney, TX

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. This role operates large equipment while standing for approximately 8-12 hours, regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.
The job may risk exposure to heat and/or cold, loud noise levels, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.
