Job summary

CLA is a top national professional services firm seeking an Associate for tax compliance and advisory work. You’ll collaborate with teammates to research complex tax issues and coordinate daily workflows with seniors and directors to keep projects on track. A CPA path is preferred and a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance is required.

• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Associate role:

• Collaborate with team members to provide customized tax compliance and tax advisory services to clients and work closely with team members to identify and research complex tax issues
• Coordinate day-to-day tax workstreams with Seniors, Managers and Directors to ensure projects are progressing timely
• Willingness to learn new tax concepts and technology
• Learn new software and assist with development of standardized templates and tools
• Leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency, accuracy, and a best-in-class client experience

What you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• One year of relevant experience preferred
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred
