Job summary

Fleet Landing in Florida is seeking an Associate Executive Director to provide leadership, operational oversight, and ensure delivery of resident-centered care across all areas of our community.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with Master’s preferred and 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in senior living or healthcare, including familiarity with Florida’s CCRC regulations. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, or related field.
• Experience with Florida’s CCRC regulatory environment and operational requirements is highly desirable.
• Proven in financial management, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to mission-driven leadership and performance.
• Support the Executive Director in translating organizational strategy into operational plans and measurable objectives.
• Promote a positive, Resident-centered culture that encourages staff engagement, accountability, and professional growth.
• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of high-quality services across all areas of the community.
• Manage operational functions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and policies.
• Serve as the Executive Director's operational backup for emergency preparedness, risk management, and regulatory surveys.
• Monitor financial performance to achieve at-or-above established thresholds as measured by NOM and other indicators.
• Supervise and mentor department managers and leaders; provide coaching and development opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, donors, regulators, and the broader community.
