Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Associate Equipment Specialist in Lincoln, NE to support the Equipment Solutions organization. This role handles day-to-day operations, processes equipment facility orders and returns, and coordinates with project teams, equipment facilities, buyers, and HQ leadership.

You will source equipment, generate purchase orders, reconcile billing, and maintain both electronic and physical inventory across sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with rental equipment or construction is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process equipment facility orders and returns from the field.
• Source equipment internally and from third-party rental or service providers.
• Generate purchase orders for purchases and rentals.
• Reconcile billing for contracts, invoices and work orders daily.
• Support electronic inventory management and physical inventories on sites or facilities.
• Update task codes and off-rent dates with project teams' input.
• Provide inventory reporting to teams, including scheduled and on-demand reports.
• Reconcile fleet invoicing with accounting, vendors and project teams.
• Offer equipment solutions and maintenance recommendations to project teams.
• Build relationships across diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.

Associate Equipment Specialist (Lincoln, NE)

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking anAssociateEquipment Specialist. This specialist will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Equipment Solutions organization. This position plays an integral role in managing a wide range of processes on behalf of the Project teams, Equipment Facility Teams, Buyers, and ESM HQ Leadership

LOCATION:

Lincoln, NE

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow established procedures in relation to receiving and processing equipment facility orders and returns from the field
• Source equipment internally and through 3rd party rental and service suppliers
• Generate purchase orders for equipment purchases and rentals
• Reconcile and process the billing of contracts, invoices, and work orders daily
• Support electronic Inventory Management
• Support physical Inventory Management on project sites or within equipment facilities
• Update and change, as needed, Task Code and Off-Rent date with input from project teams (customers)
• Responsible for Inventory Management reporting to teams, which includes scheduled and on-demand
  reporting; includes review and quality control of reports
• Reconciliation of fleet invoicing with accounting, fleet vendors and project teams
• Provide equipment solutions and issue resolution for project teams, including recommendations for type
  and maintenance of equipment
• Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of rental equipment, construction, and/or related professional experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Positive, professional attitude with strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask
• Planning and organizational skills
• Active listening skills and effective communication, open to diverse input and feedback

The base pay range for this role

is $64,200 - $80,300. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
