Responsibilities

• Process equipment facility orders and returns following established procedures.
• Source equipment internally and via third-party rentals.
• Create purchase orders for equipment purchases and rentals.
• Reconcile contracts, invoices, and work orders daily.
• Support electronic and physical inventory management.
• Perform on-site equipment reviews and adjust task codes and off-rent dates.
• Produce and review fleet-related reports for teams.
• Coordinate invoicing with accounting and vendors.
• Provide equipment solutions and recommendations for project needs.
• Collaborate with Craft team on branding and maintenance of equipment.
• Engage with diverse stakeholders across organizational levels.

Associate Equipment Specialist

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking an outgoing and team orientedAssociateEquipment Specialist. This specialist will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Equipment Solutions organization. This position will focus primarily on data entry and equipment contract support. This position plays an integral role in managing a wide range of processes on behalf of the Project teams, Equipment Facility Teams, Buyers, and Equipment Solutions Manager HQ Leadership

Location: Centerville, MN

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow established procedures in relation to receiving and processing equipment facility orders and returns from the field
• Source equipment internally and through 3rd party rental and service suppliers
• Generate purchase orders for equipment purchases and rentals
• Reconcile and process the billing of contracts, invoices, and work orders daily
• Support electronic Inventory Management
• Support physical Inventory Management on project sites and within equipment facilities
• Conduct on-site equipment reviews with project teams, update and change, as needed, Task Code and Off-Rent dates
• Responsible for Inventory Management reporting to teams, which includes scheduled and on-demand reporting; includes review and quality control of reports
• Reconciliation of fleet invoicing with accounting, fleet vendors, and project teams
• Provide equipment solutions and issue resolution for project teams, including recommendations for type, and maintenance of equipment
• Collaborate and work with the Craft team on the branding and maintenance of company owned equipment.
• Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of rental equipment, construction, and/or related professional experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Positive, professional attitude with strong customer service skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities
• Planning and organizational skills
• Active listening skills and effective communication; open to diverse input and feedback

The base pay range for this role is $64,200 - $80,300. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
