Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in Environmental Science, 5+ years in environmental consulting, and CT-regulation experience, with strong report writing and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 40% may be required; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Connecticut-based regulations.
• Demonstrated technical report writing proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals for environmental projects, including technical scopes of work.
• Project management of CT-based environmental projects, including client communication and invoicing.
• Prepare technical reports (RAPs/COIs/GMRs).
• Conduct ASTM Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments.
• Collect field samples of soil, soil vapor, groundwater, surface water, and drinking water.
• Provide oversight of site investigation and characterization and remediation.
• Support emergency response services.
• Communicate and collaborate with others to meet targets.
• Meet financial-based targets.

We are hiring an Associate Project Manager to join our Environmental Team, based in Glastonbury, CT. This position provides a dynamic mix of office‑based project management and hands‑on field work supporting environmental projects throughout Connecticut and the surrounding area.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepareproposals for environmental projects, including technical scopes of work
• Project management of CT-based environmental projects, including client communication and invoicing
• Prepare technical reports(RAPs/COIs/ GMRs)
• Conduct ASTM Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments
• Collect field samples of soil, soil vapor, groundwater, surface water, and drinking water
• Provide oversight of site investigation and characterization as well as contaminated site remediation
• Support emergency response services
• Communicate and collaborate with others
• Manage workloads and records
• Implement health and safety policies
• Meet financial-based targets

What we're looking for:

• BA/BS in Environmental Science or related major is required
• Must have 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or a related field
• Must have 3+ years of experience with Connecticut-based regulations
• Demonstrated technical report writing proficiency.
• Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportationare required
• Must be available for infrequent night and weekend work
• Strong communicationand interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and various weather conditions
• Ability to lift upto 50 pounds
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent safety record and understanding of safe work practices
• Must be able to travel 40% regionally
• Familiarity with State Superfund and applicable federal and state regulations preferred
• Connecticut- specific MS4 stormwater and CTDEEP regulatory/remediation experience preferred
• CAD and GIS experience a plus
• 40-hr HAZWOPER certification preferred

Annual Expected Pay Range $75,000 — $90,000 USD
