Job summary

RICK Engineering in Tucson, Arizona is seeking an Associate Engineering Designer to join a multidisciplinary team on meaningful regional projects. You will help take plans from conceptual design through final plans, including plats and subdivision work for land development projects, and collaborate with engineers on roadway, utility, and drainage design.

Qualified candidates typically hold a BSCE (preferred) with 2 years of experience or equivalent 6 years, and CADD proficiency.

Qualifications

• BSCE degree preferred with two years' work experience or six years equivalent in land development/public works.
• Experience from conceptual design to final plans, including plats and subdivision and land development projects.
• Knowledge of Tucson area codes, standards and procedures preferred.
• CADD experience is required.
• A good driving record is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidate will have a BSCE degree (preferred) and two (2) years' work experience or the equivalent work experience of six (6) years in land development and/or public works.
• Experience must include the ability to take plans from conceptual design to final plans, as well as preparation and processing of plats and plans for subdivision and land development projects, including roadway, utility, and drainage design, grading and earthwork calculations.
• Knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards and procedures in the Tucson Area is preferred.
• CADD experience is required.
• A good driving record is required.

• Preferred EIT (Engineer-in-Training) or ability to obtain within 6 months of being hired.
