Job summary

Rick Engineering Company (RICK) is seeking an Associate Civil Engineering Designer to join our Land Development Group in San Diego, California. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team on meaningful projects and help clients turn their dreams into reality in the Inland Empire region, with opportunities for mentorship and growth.

Requirements include a BSCE, 2 years of civil engineering experience (or six years in land development/public works), AutoCAD/Civil3D experience, a good driving

Qualifications

• BSCE and 2 years’ civil engineering experience or six years in land development/public works design.
• Completed coursework in transportation/highway engineering, hydrology/hydraulics, surveying.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary Land Development team on landmark projects in the San Diego area.
• Assist in land development and public works design activities.
• Calculate earthwork take-offs and other quantities.

Qualifications

BSCE, 2 years’ experience in general civil engineering or the equivalent work experience of six years in land development and/or public works design.

Completed coursework in the following areas is desired.

• Transportation and highway engineering
• Hydrology, hydraulics
• Surveying

Additional Requirements

• AutoCAD/Civil3D experience is required
• A good driving record is a must.
