Job summary

Enclos Tensile Structures in Buffalo, NY seeks an Associate Engineer to support design and engineering of custom tensile structures. You will model and analyze using finite element software and contribute to drawings and fabrication planning under senior engineers.

The ideal candidate is an early-career civil/structural engineer, graduating Spring 2027 or soon, with EIT certification and strong communication skills. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

0-3 years of relevant engineering experience.
Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) Certificate.
BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Responsibilities

Modeling and analysis of tensioned membrane structures using finite element large deflection software.
Summarize and present engineering results in report format for client review and approval.
Develop general arrangement drawings with a project designer for client review.
Create fabric cutting patterns meeting project geometry requirements.
Coordinate project work with Project Manager, Supervising Engineer, and Project Designer.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned projects.
