American Medical Response in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Associate EMS Dispatcher for a full-time role. You will answer 911 and non-emergency calls, dispatch ambulances and fire units, and provide real-time guidance to callers.

Starting pay is $20.81 per hour with a bonus opportunity described in the posting, and you will join Global Medical Response's family of solutions. This position offers meaningful community impact and varied daily challenges.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong reading comprehension and writing skills in English.
• Ability to communicate clearly on the radio and telephone.
• Ability to record, transmit, and report information accurately.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Possess strong typing and data entry skills.

As thefirstfirst responders, Associate EMS Dispatchersperform a critical role in the Emergency Medical Services and Fire systems. Dispatchers take emergency and non-emergency calls for service and dispatch ambulances and fire engines via radio. Dispatchers respond to emergencies large and small, providing real time care and assistance to the public.

Responsibilities

• Process both emergency (911) and non-emergency calls to determine what type of assistance is needed and ensure that help is dispatched in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency dispatch, medical or telecommunications experience, OR a minimum of 2 years of high-demand customer service experience
• Strong reading comprehension and writing skills in English.
• Ability to communicate clearly on the radio and telephone.
• Ability to record, transmit, and report information accurately.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Possess strong typing and data entry skills
• Computer experience sufficient to simultaneously use multiple computer systems and applications after appropriate training
