Job summary

The Boeing Company in Missouri seeks an Associate Missions Systems Software Engineer – Embedded to join the Mission Systems Software team in Berkeley, MO. You will contribute to embedded flight software across an agile team, from requirements to CI/CD, in safety-critical domains.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in software, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance post-start. Travel up to 10% and relocation support are possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Ability to obtain US Secret clearance post-start
• 2+ years of related work experience
• 2+ years programming with Go, Java, C/C++, Rust, or Python
• Experience in systems integration with systems engineering processes
• Strong verbal and written skills

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, debugs and maintains software for embedded devices and systems
• Translates customer requirements into embedded software design
• Writes code for embedded systems on specialized hardware
• Integrates embedded software with hardware components
• Analyzes and improves efficiency and stability of embedded software
• Tests and debugs software for embedded devices and systems
• Advises on software and hardware integration domains
• Performs embedded software project management functions
