Job summary

ArchKey Solutions in Fargo, ND is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the Project Manager on a large complex electrical construction project.

Based in our Fargo office, you will assist with staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, and Foremen, while ensuring safety and quality. This role offers growth opportunities within a leading electrical contractor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 0-1 year of construction and/or project experience OR knowledge of construction methods.
• Project Managed training, experience or skills with a general understanding of a project lifecycle.
• Strong process orientation, analytical and mathematical skills.
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Must possess strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Must be willing to travel to and potentially temporarily relocate to project locations.
• Experience with Accubid a plus.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in the overall administrative and technical direction for one large complex project or direct smaller size projects under the supervision of a Project Manager.
• Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between internal and external project members including General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, and Foremen.
• Assist the Project Manager in staffing decisions such as choosing superintendent, general foreman, and foremen.
• Perform specialized estimating and assist in estimating projects.
• Assist the Project Manager with purchase requisitions, payment approvals, and change order requests.
• Assist in the implementation/interpretation of safety programs and ensure OSHA requirements are met.
