Job summary

United Way of Greater Cincinnati is seeking an Associate, Educational Outcomes to coordinate a portfolio of cradle-to-career initiatives, manage data and enrollments, and engage diverse partners.   • Experience maintaining databases and preparing reports.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce or similar CRM preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the implementation and day-to-day operations of educational initiatives across the Educational Outcomes portfolio.
  • Manage project timelines, work plans, and administrative activities to keep projects on schedule.
  • Maintain program documentation, electronic files, databases, and tracking systems.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain participant enrollment databases and monitor enrollment goals and KPIs.
  • Support continuous improvement by maintaining accurate records and identifying opportunities to strengthen operations.
  • Process participant enrollments and maintain accurate program records.
  • Assist families and participants with enrollment, onboarding, and ongoing participation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute meetings, workshops, convenings, and community events.
  • Handle venue logistics, technology, materials, transportation, accessibility, and supplies.
  • Prepare agendas, presentations, sign-in materials, and follow-up communications.
  • Provide on-site logistical support to ensure events run smoothly.
  • Coordinate YAB meetings, leadership sessions, and related activities.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and summaries; support youth participation in events.
  • Attend meetings and events to provide operational support; some may be evenings/weekends.
  • Manage RSVP tracking and attendance; support recruitment for YAB.

As Associate, Educational Outcomes at United Way of Greater Cincinnati, you will support initiatives that improve outcomes for children and youth across the cradle-to-career continuum. This role provides program coordination, administrative support, data management, and stakeholder engagement across a portfolio of initiatives designed to expand educational opportunities, strengthen family engagement, elevate youth voice, and connect education to career pathways.

The Associate supports several key initiatives across the cradle to career continuum, including the Hamilton County Youth Advisory Board (YAB), Children's Savings Accounts (CSA), Success by 6, place-based education efforts, workforce pathway strategies, and key education partnerships. This position plays an important role in coordinating meetings and events, supporting participant enrollment and engagement, maintaining program data, and fostering collaboration with community partners to advance educational success throughout the region.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Program Coordination and Administrative Support
  • Support the implementation and day-to-day operations of educational initiatives across the Educational Outcomes portfolio.
  • Coordinate project timelines, work plans, and administrative activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and align with priorities.
  • Maintain program documentation, electronic files, databases, and tracking systems.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, meeting materials, and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain participant enrollment databases and monitor program participation, enrollment goals, and key performance metrics.
  • Support continuous improvement by maintaining accurate records and identifying opportunities to strengthen program operations.
  • Process participant enrollments and maintain accurate program records.
  • Assist families and participants with enrollment, onboarding, and ongoing program participation.
Meeting, Event, and Convening Coordination
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing meetings, workshops, convenings, and community events.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, including venue reservations, technology, participant materials, transportation, refreshments, accessibility accommodations, and event supplies.
  • Prepare agendas, presentations, participant packets, sign-in materials, meeting notes, and follow-up communications.
  • Provide on-site logistical support to ensure meetings and events are executed efficiently and effectively.
Hamilton County Youth Advisory Board (YAB) Support
  • Coordinate the logistics and implementation of monthly Youth Advisory Board meetings, leadership development sessions, retreats, community engagement activities, and special events.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, discussion guides, presentations, participant materials, evaluations, and meeting summaries.
  • Support planning and coordination of youth participation in conferences, state meetings, training, advocacy events, and leadership development opportunities.
  • Attend Youth Advisory Board meetings, community outings, and special events to provide operational support and ensure activities are successfully executed; some meetings and events will take place on weekends or outside of typical business hours.
  • Manage meeting reminders, RSVP tracking, attendance records, and ongoing communication with Youth Advisory Board members.
  • Support recruitment strategies to expand Youth Advisory Board membership.
  • Assist with onboarding new Youth Advisory Board members by providing orientation, resources, and ongoing support.
  • Foster an inclusive, youth-centered environment that encourages meaningful participation, leadership development, and authentic youth voice.
Community and Partner Engagement
  • Support community outreach, participant engagement, and partner collaboration across Educational Outcomes initiatives.
  • Assist with recruitment, enrollment, and retention efforts for Educational Outcomes programs and initiatives.
  • Support strategies that strengthen community connections and partnerships across the Educational Outcomes portfolio.

Working Conditions
  • Full-time position (37.5 hours/week), M–F 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
  • In-person role at UWGC offices, with flexibility for evening and weekend activities.
  • Expectation of 1–2 evening or weekend commitments per month.
  • Frequent local travel to regional events; occasional out-of-town travel for trainings or conferences.
  • Normal office environment with extended viewing of computer monitors and frequent use of technology.
