Job summary

PACCAR Electronics is seeking an Associate ECU Test Engineer to validate ECU software through Hardware-in-the-Loop testing, partnering with product development teams to drive software quality and on-time delivery. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, strong communication skills, and travel up to 10% internationally.

You will contribute to expanding test coverage and introducing automation to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, managing multiple projects and adapting to shifting priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 10%, including internationally.

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases to ensure full requirements coverage and high-quality software validation.
Plan and manage testing activities within assigned domains, tracking progress and reporting status to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including software development, electrical engineering, control system development, IT, and test engineering—to troubleshoot issues and ensure seamless integration.
Continuously enhance testing processes by increasing automation, improving test efficiency, and implementing best practices for quality assurance.
