Job summary

PACCAR Electronics seeks a results-driven Software Integration Test Engineer based in the Bellevue/Kirkland area to design, implement, and execute tests for next-generation ECU software. You will contribute to test automation, defect resolution, and quality improvements across multiple projects.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of software testing, with a willingness to travel up to 10% globally. Knowledge of Python, C++, and industry tools will be highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of software testing experience.
• Willingness to learn and apply new software quality processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Ability to interpret and work with software requirements specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests of embedded software using simulated environments per the design of the software for next-generation electronic control units.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases aligned with software requirements to validate integration of embedded software modules.
• Continuously assess testing effectiveness and recommend improvements by analyzing metrics and insights throughout the SDLC/STLC.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks, harnesses, and reusable code libraries to streamline testing across multiple projects.
• Develop automated test tools—including scripts, utilities, simulators, and data sets to support robust and scalable test automation.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and document findings to support defect resolution and quality improvements.
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of procedures, best practices, and standards that strengthen the reliability and quality of delivered software systems.
