Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director - Process (Wastewater Treatment/Desalination) to drive technical excellence on energy projects across global offices. You will lead study and design activities, mentor teams and ensure high-quality, cost-effective outcomes.

The role requires 15+ years of experience in consulting or design, a Master of Engineering or BE in Chemical/Environmental engineering, and licensure as CEng/PE.

Qualifications

• Master of Engineering degree/Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical / Environmental engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field
• Overall 15+ years of work experience in consulting or design organization is preferable.
• Working with OEMs of Wind Turbines, Solar PV modules for modelling of internal control loop systems is desirable.
• Very good communication skills (English) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Serves as senior technical advisor for the team.
• Provides specialized input to studies and designs in area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures for high quality, cost-effective work.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develops construction cost estimates and technical effort estimates.
• Applies expertise across all PS&E package steps.
• Performs QC review of design calculations and drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Contributes to engineering budget and schedule development.
