Job summary

AECOM seeks a Lead Engineer - Process (Wastewater Treatment/Desalination) to contribute to impactful energy projects from India. The role requires a strong background in chemical/environmental engineering, licensure (CEng/PE), and 8–12 years of consulting or design experience.

Qualifications

• Master of Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical/Environmental engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field
• Overall 8-12 years of work experience in consulting or design organization is preferable.
• ANSI, Australian Standards and Middle East region codes and standards recommended.
• Working with OEMs of Wind Turbines, Solar PV modules for modelling of internal control loop systems desirable.
• Very good communication skills (Oral and Written) in English language is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team.
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing disciplinecomponent of PS&E package.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
