Job summary

Alexion Pharma Spain S.L. seeks an Associate Director of U.S. Patient Marketing for IgAN in Boston to lead patient marketing initiatives, drive engagement, and support launch and growth efforts.

You will guide omnichannel programs, education initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration with teams across Patient Services, Advocacy, Sales, Medical, and Regulatory. The role emphasizes strategy execution, content optimization, and measurement of campaign KPIs in a fast-paced launch environment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech or healthcare marketing experience.
• Experience in patient marketing, digital marketing, or consumer engagement programs.
• Strong understanding of patient journey and engagement strategies in specialty or rare disease.
• Proven ability to execute omnichannel marketing programs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of patient marketing programs and campaigns aligned to brand strategy and launch priorities.
• Implement omnichannel patient engagement initiatives (digital, social, web, CRM, patient support programs).
• Develop and execute patient marketing plans and provide insights for strategy refinement.
• Manage patient education initiatives, content development, and partnerships with advocacy and field teams.
• Drive patient identification and adherence initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Coordinate execution across cross-functional partners (Patient Services, Advocacy, Sales, Medical, Market Access, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, PRC).

Education

Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field

Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, PhD, or MS)
