Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Associate Director, Training and Deviations, to lead the Training and Deviations function within a 24/7 manufacturing operation. You will shape site training strategies, oversee two specialized teams, and ensure compliant deviation assessments and investigations that safeguard product quality.

The role emphasizes leadership, GMP excellence, and continuous improvement, with accountability for training documentation, audits, and ensuring readiness across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Pharmacy or related field required.
• Minimum of 8 years of manufacturing experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 12 years without a degree.
• Minimum of 6 years of leadership experience, including direct management of people leaders.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and executing training strategies within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Training and Deviations function across two teams to ensure training readiness and deviation management.
• Oversight of site-specific manufacturing training programs and deviation assessments in alignment with GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Drive CAPAs and Change Control activities arising from deviation investigations and training effectiveness findings.
• Participate in quality councils and audits to maintain compliance and continuous improvement across the manufacturing organization.
